There are four levels of Home Care Packages, based on need.

Level 1 – for people with basic care needs

Level 2 – for people with low-level care needs

Level 3 – for people with intermediate care needs

Level 4 – for people with high-level care needs

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will determine which package is for you.

Community Aged Care Fees

For people on a full pension, there is a government-set fee of 17.5%.

If you are on a partial pension or do not receive a pension, income and asset tests will determine if additional fees apply. This will be assessed through the My Aged Care process which Valmar can assist you with.

Valmar has a set price list for all services we deliver.

You choose which services you want and when you want them delivered and Valmar simply debits the amount from your Home Care Package.

Valmar will provide you with regular reports so you can track your Home Care Package and see what funding is still available to use.
